Professional competence and standards
All the services offered ensure technical competency to the highest standards based on the latest research and theory. At any time, proof of competency can be provided. If we can't guarantee this we don't offer the service - however marketable. As a nurse Karen is regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council and is therefore required to demonstrate every three years that she is practising safely and effectively. Additionally, she is legally required to hold professional indemnity insurance.
Honesty and integrity
Professionally - At KC Business Health Ltd there is 100% compliance to rules of confidentiality for doctors and nurses. We work strictly to guidance and codes of conduct from the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery Council and Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
Business - When KC Business Health Ltd works for your organisation there is no hidden
agenda, no hidden fees and complete transparency (within the rules of confidentiality). We
will provide an honest and accurate service which doesn't speak complicated medical jargon
but a language you understand. We also do not actively try and sell you any part of our
service that you do not need.
A personal service
The most enjoyable part of occupational health is understanding what makes an organisation tick and adapting the service you want to your needs. It doesn't matter whether you operate as a small, medium or large business, a charity or a university we will take the time to understand your values, priorities and business risks. Unless we do this, it is our view, that whatever is provided will not be effective.
KC Business Health works flexibly to fit around your needs. By popular demand we tend to work peripatetically by coming to your workplace or arranging appointments at the York Eco Business Centre.
